Debut album ‘Four Ways To The Sun’ is out now.
Georgia Duncan is a vocalist and songwriter from South London whose music fuses folk intimacy with jazz-inflected harmonies and subtle experimental textures. Her debut album, Four Ways To The Sun, has garnered critical acclaim, with airplay on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 3 and Jazz FM. Composed and led by Duncan, the band developed the album collaboratively and features renowned improvising musicians Ruth Goller (bass), Yusuf Ahmed (drums), and Harry Christelis (guitar). Recorded at Lightship 95 with engineer Dave Holmes, the album reflects an instinct for space and collaboration, and is woven together by Duncan’s signature lyrical depth and layered vocal harmonies, with features from fellow vocalists Genevieve Dawson, Isobel Risk, Lara Laeverenz and Katie Duncan.
